I believe the reason the bowling pin takes so much memory is the fact that
it has a 1408x1800 pixel texture applied to it. Although this is a 5bit
image image the HIIP iff loader loads it as a 24bit file which takes up a
great deal more memory. I can only speculate on this because I have deleted
the HIIP iff loader from my Lightwave directory. I just loaded the pin and
it didn't take nearly as long to load as it did when the HIIP loader was in
use. I don't remember how much memory it consumed before but as a 5 bit file
it only takes 1.58M of memory.
